It's hard to put into words what flower farming means to me.

I feel such a connection to the soil and the earth. Thinking of brides while planting, tending, and harvesting flowers is a true expression of art for me. Being a part of a wedding celebration is the ultimate privilege, and I take it very seriously. The title of a florist doesn’t encompass what this role means to me.

Growing and dreaming with flowers truly feels like an expression of my soul… to create unique floral arrangements that mimic nature.

Our PROCESS

After your initial inquiry, we will meet over the phone or zoom to get acquainted and to share your vision and budget, and try to summarize your floral needs for your wedding day. You can email photo inspirations and details before the meeting, or we can do a back and forth during our consultation. I then send a Pinterest board with our two visions together to make sure we are on the same page, followed by a document with the details of all the florals and pricing. If you want us to hold your date, a deposit will be invoiced. We will touch base as many times as needed before the wedding. I will be sending photos from the fields to keep you thinking about your flowers!

As seeds are planted, all of our couples’ gorgeous palettes and textures will be sown into the rich soil here at the farm.
These will be lovingly tended to until they arrive at your wedding.

our style

The design process will be a total reflection of your vision. Our personal style preference is loose, and textured- like a romantic and whimsical garden. This works well with many key flowers that we grow and use such as roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and peonies. Having studied with some of the world’s most talented florists, my garden style is achieved by using unique foraged foliage, as well as beloved ferns and eucalyptus. This style is very bespoke and current, and can be seen being used everywhere from beautiful backyard weddings, to royal weddings foraged for Kensington Palace.

sustainable & farm-fresh

A huge benefit in using a farmer florist for your special day, is the noticeable difference in floral freshness. When using solely wholesale flowers, many florals have been picked and refrigerated for a week already, and may be struggling to last your entire wedding day, let alone hold onto their lovely scent. Some may have even traveled halfway around the world! We are snipping your flowers from the field typically a day before your event, meaning they will look beautifully fresh throughout your entire day. This type of fresh-cut readiness also means we don’t need to chemically coat your flowers in order to have them last. We take great pride in working from seed to wedding day as sustainably as possible. This flows into many aspects of our work. I have learned to use sustainable practices that allow our arches and suspended floral installations to be free of any floral foam. Eliminating floral foam means our work comes across light and ethereal, as well as dramatically less toxic to the environment.

Our flowers are fresh from the fields so they will be gorgeous on your special day.
